Big Eye Brown might be dead…..but that’s not gonna stop him from having fun!
The series that started it all!
Big Eye Brown is the series that started it all for me. I was approached by the guys over at Peculiar Inks to create a series under their banner. As longtime friends I trusted the guys to help me get started in this NFT world and boy was it the right idea. Big Eye Brown was the first of 2 series I ended up publishing under them. The other being the Proton Pals.
We had a slight hiccup….
Little did anyone at Peculiar Inks. or myself ever dream of the success we would have. That success actually caused an issue for us. After releasing around 20 BEB we couldn’t keep up with the business side of it. All of us involved have families and full time jobs and were overwhelmed. So I devised a plan to help us out. Big Eye Brown was moved under my own control.
A decision not taken lightly
It was a decision not taken lightly. In fact, I contacted all of the purchasers and worked with them to devise a plan. That plan included burning all old nfts and reminting them under a new collection. These newly minted pieces were sent directly to the holder of each piece at the time. We called these reminted ones the founders editions and they all carry the founders mark in the corner.
Since then, the collection has continued to thrive! Pieces have resold for as high as $200 and look to continue climbing.
Today over 71 fully crafted Big Eye Brown have been released and sold. This includes mainline, special drops, and even custom BEB!
While none of these standards are going away, we are about to embark on a new chapter in the Big Eye Brown tale.

BIG EYE BROWN ROAD MAP
Stage 1
Big Eye Brown is released. In this stage we will get to meet Big Eye Brown and his many alter egos. Will consist of mainline drops, Custom Drops, and Special Releases.
Stage 2
The Bone Crafter is here….
Meet Amyah the Bone Crafter. Amyah brings us into stage 2 of the Big Eye Brown collect. Up until this point Big Eye Brown has simply been a collect what is made type of NFT. With the launch of stage 2 that all changes.
While The classic BEB creations will continue, Amyah brings the ability to craft your own Big Eye Brown creations buy collecting parts of various rarity. Once you have the pieces you want you will contact me (on twitter or telegram) and I will arrange to have Amyah craft your Big Eye for you.
How does it work?
As you can see there will be a cost to crafting. That cost will either be $30 or 30 bone shards. What are bone shards? I’ll get to that in a minute.
First, let’s talk rarity. The items used for crafting will carry varying rarity. Common, Uncommon, Rare, Ultra Rare, and Epic.
As you can see Epic level items carry an original purchase price that can only be paid in Bone shards….so what ware these shards? These shards are part of the new BEB reward system!
BIG EYE BROWN REWARD SYSTEM
Part of the phase 2 implementation will be the BEB reward system. The reward system is a way to give back to those that are taking the time to collect big eye brown and hold onto them.
Each month the top 3 holders will receive bone shards. The top holder will be sent 15, 2nd place 10, and 3rd 5.
There will also be weekly giveaways of shards to a few lucky holders. The number of winners and shards given will vary from week to week.
To top it off, sometimes I will just randomly give away BEB tokens, both mainline pieces and soon to be crafting pieces to holders just for the fun of it.
So, you never know when you might be the chosen winner. but you can’t win if you aren’t holding!
THE BONE SAW
The Bone Saw is a new item introduced in late FEB ’22.
Amyah doesn’t just sell gear and craft new BEB for people, she also will rip apart mainline BEB. Using the bone saw a holder can contact IPV though telegram, or twitter to arrange to have one of their mainline BEB craved up!
How it works:
- Purchase a Bone Saw
- Own a mainline Big Eye Brown
- Contact ImpactPlayrV (contact page) and set up the dismembering process. He will need to know the number of the Saw you will be sending to him, and the BEB you will be returning also. As BOTH will be burned.
- In return you will receive 10 Bone Shards, and 2 ultra-rare crafting pieces based on the mainline BEB you cut up.
CUSTOM BIG EYE BROWN
Amyah also has added the fantastic new function of fully custom Big Eye Brown. She will work with anyone to craft a BEB from scratch based on their personal idea. (Please note some restrictions apply)
Cost of a Custom Piece $150
How to purchase:
Contact ImpactPlayrV through the contact page . He will work with you to streamline your idea and then create it.
Once created he will mint it and post it to the collection.
Using the offer function on protonmint you will then place an offer of $150 and he will accept it sending the finished CUSTOM BEB to you.
NOTE that ALL custom BEB will carry a CUSTOM BEB badge in the corner.
Collection End
As of DEC 2022 Big Eye Brown has come to a completion. The original PFP collection has 109 BEB. The collection could still grow based on outstanding crafting parts and custom purchases.
At this time ALL BEB holder rewards/loyalty will also be terminated.
Collection Future: Stage 3
Big Eye Brown isn’t gone forever. I am reworking the style of the art as well as looking to add a way to gamify the future of the collection. Stay tuned right here and on the blog for more information as I am ready to release it.
